FullSizeRender-13Everyone loves a good comic strip. The witty nature of a comic strip coupled with the colorful illustrations provides for a lighthearted and entertaining read. What better comic strip than the internationally renowned Belgium reporter Tintin with his lovable sidekick dog Snowy. Created in 1929 by Hergé, Tintin was designed for a newspaper comic column in Belgium. However, as he gained in popularity, he began starring in books and eventually had his own Hollywood debut. There is currently a exhibition in Somerset House, London titled TINTIN: Hergé’s Masterpiece, tracing the history of Tintin which showcases Hergés sketches, models and prints of this famed character. Check out this show, now on view until January 31, to see Hergés artful illustrations!
