Air Garden

The Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX Airport in Los Angeles recently received a facelift. A swanky new interior was not the only improvement this terminal received. As part of the renovations, art installations have now become a part of the airport. I discovered one work, Air Garden, when I was recently at LAX. Hanging from the glass ceiling are bright yellow, blue and magenta beads. As the sunlight streams through the ceiling, light filters through the beads making the installation appear to be moving, just as people move throughout the airport on their various journeys.
