Ghent Street Art

FullSizeRender-51.jpgIn a city famed for its altarpiece by the Van Eyck brothers, many may be unaware that Ghent, Belgium is also a city known for its street art. You won’t have to hunt all over town to see these works as there is a street dedicated to this type of art. Known as Graffiti Street, this side street off from the main square is completely covered in works by numerous street artists. Don’t get too attached to one work, as the walls are frequently whitewashed to allow artists the chance to showcase a new work of art.
