When visiting the beach you don’t expect to find land art. However, if you go to Hendry’s Beach in Santa Barbara you can see a work of art in the trees. At this beach the trees grow horizontally and are used to support the cliff. An artist utilized these tree trunks as a canvas for a work of art. Blue triangles were placed adjacent to one another on the trunk to appear as butterflies resting by the sea.
