One of the most well known museums in Belgium is the Groeningemuseum, home to art by the Flemish Primitives and Renaissance artists with works by Jan van Eyck, Hans Memling and Hugo van der Goes. But Flemish and Renaissance pieces are not the only time periods on view. The museum flows in a chronological order ending with works from the 18th century onward.
