Street artist Nathan Bowen has work on walls, windows and buildings spread throughout the city of London. Here is a work I spotted at Brick Lane Market. Characterized in Bowen’s quick and jagged brush strokes are four figures holding red and yellow balloons.
It seems as though every time I visit Brick Lane market in London the street art I saw last time is gone and new works are now on display. These street works of art adorn building walls, street signs and doors. These are my favorite from my last trip to this outdoor art scene.
Pucker up! This street artist has been leaving its mark on walls and boards throughout the city of London. With black and white geometric portraits, this bold red lip adds a pop of color to anyone who passes by. These are two I found near Holborn Station and Brick Lane. Have you seen any?
Do you like art? Do you like puzzles? Well if you answered yes to both of those questions, the puzzling art at Brick Lane Market is perfect for you. On various street lamps sit five crates with images on each side. One crate has feet, one has legs, two have bodies and the final crate has a head. When you rotate each crate you can create a different person. These are the three I designed.
