120 larger than life sheep statues, copied after the character in the new animation movie Shaun the Sheep, flock together one final time in London’s Covent Garden. Part of a fundraiser for Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity, these sheep were placed all over Bristol and London this summer. Thousands of artists from all over the world submitted designs to paint their own Shaun and 70 were accepted. People anticipated the placements of these statues and even an iPhone app was created so you could track the locations of the sheep. After being apart all summer, the sheep were herded to Covent Garden as a final hoorah before going home with their new owners.
Here are a few of my favorites.
