Tree of London

FullSizeRender-11When I walked into Somerset House I was taken back by what I saw. What was that in the middle of the atrium? There were multicolored lights, wheels, bells, bugs all sprouting from this central post. What was it? It was a representation of an elm tree, something London has seen very few of since the 1970s when the Elm Disease hit. But now the elm tree is coming back! Ulmus Londinium has started a project to repopulate the Elm Tree in London. Hopefully, this installation will serve as a tree of knowledge, enlightening people about the elm tree.
